	Desktop Applications	Inference for QbD provides a suite of easy-to-use desktop applications that enable QbD workflow: Inference in Excel for data assembly and preparation, Inference in Word for journaling and data analysis, and Inference Studio for developing QbD analysis protocols. Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 must be installed to utilize Inference in Word and Inference in Excel. Being fully integrated with the familiar Microsoft Office environment, the entire desktop application suite requires minimal training.

	InterViewers	Inference for QbD strikes a balance between structured decision-making and spontaneous “what if” analysis, a capacity enhanced by an intuitive and integrated collection of InterViewers. With InterViewers, users can perform continuous ad-hoc analysis, by way of an interactive visualization platform, without sacrificing the ability to easily alternate between a structured decision process and an unstructured visual analysis. InterViewers enable the harmonious convergence of both quantitative and qualitative decision making.

	Enterprise Services	Inference for QbD provides a suite of powerful networked services for QbD workflow across the enterprise: Inference Repository for QbD collaboration and document management and Inference Data-Analysis Services for controlled and centralized deployment of the data-analysis engine. These robust, scalable and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant systems utilize Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

	Supporting Tools	As a turnkey QbD solution, Inference for QbD provides an out-of-the-box collection of value-added tools for QbD implementation: utilities to enhance Inference usability, integration plug-ins to extend Inference capabilities, a software developer kit for customization, function libraries of QbD-relevant data-analysis functions, and template libraries of pre-built QbD workflows.
