A
Dynamic User Interface for Data-Analysis
Inference in Word is a powerful composition tool to aggregate, manipulate,
analyze, and mashup data and analysis results from QbD projects. Inference in
Word delivers:
- Accessibility: Data becomes usable, understandable and
engaging for decision makers.
- Focused Tools: Allows for rapid development of
data-analysis solutions with a tool set that addresses critical and specific
problems.
- Dynamic Reporting: Flexible and integrated environment
enables the user keep up with the changing priorities of a technical business.
- Persistent Performance Improvement: Benefits a broad range
of workers and processes at the operational level, incrementally improving
performance, repeatedly and often.
Inference in Word is the principal interface for the Inference for
Quality-by-design user, and it is tightly integrated with Inference in
Excel, which is used for data organization and preparation. Inference in
Word extends to support a data-analysis parts container for holding objects,
data sets, codeblocks and expressions.
By acting as a centralized journaling environment for Quality-by-Design
tasks, Inference in Word enables users to embed data-analysis code within a
Microsoft Word Document to create a data-analysis source document.
Data-analysis code can then be processed to build a data-analysis results
document. The data-analysis results document includes word-processing text
and formatting, graphical output, tables, and parts of the data-analysis
platform code that was used. Word text, formatting, and the data-analysis
parts container can be combined to form a data-analysis Inference in Word
template.
Inference in Word's integration with the familiar Microsoft Office
environment requires that Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 be installed prior
to use.
